Asian African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (AACCI), a bilateral chamber with presence in Asian & African countries, serving its members spread across the two continents as well as the partnering chambers, celebrated its 5th Anniversary by organizing a High Level Diplomatic Meet, inviting Diplomats from various countries to meet up with industry stalwarts from across India. It had an occasion and purpose to break the ice of last couple of year’s inactivity due to COVID pandemic, to break the barriers between the countries and create an atmosphere of mutual growth.
The Diplomats’ Meet consisted of a very small expert group of about 30 esteemed guests including 5 to 7 Hon’ble Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Trade Consuls from various partnering countries to meet with not more than 15 to 20 dynamic business delegates from various industries. The Diplomats included H.E. Mr. Moe Kyaw Aung – Hon’ble Ambassador of Myanmar; Amb. Mahesh Sachdev – Indian Ambassador in various countries and currently the President of AACCI;H.E. Mr. Gabriel P. Sinimbo- Hon’ble High Commissioner of Republic of Namibia; Mrs. Santi Bai Hanoomanjee- Hon’ble High Commissioner, Mauritius High Commission; Prof. J. Ranganathan – Honorary Consul of Myanmar; Mr. Ernest Nana Adjei- Minister Counsellor/Political & Economic officer from the Embassy of Ghana; Mrs. ReemaBhatoolaulRobee- Second Secretary, Mauritius High Commission; Ms. Nomusa Mugwambi- Trade Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe; Mr. Emile Mwepesi- Second Counsellor, Embassy of Rwanda and Mr. Prosper Irakoze – Second Counsellor, Embassy of Rwanda.
